Double Horse Jeerakasala Rice is a premium, naturally fragrant rice famous in the Malabar region of Kerala. The grains are small and retain a delightful, distinct aroma, which is often compared to cumin (jeera), hence the name. This rice does not elongate much upon cooking and has a soft, fluffy texture, making it ideal for the delicate and flavorful preparation of Thalassery or Malabar Biryani, as well as ghee rice (Neychoru). The 1kg bag is a convenient size for specialty cooking.
